Laem Sor Pagoda
Laem Sor Pagoda, also known as the Laem Sor Chedi is located just outside of the Ban Laem Sor fishing village on the very far south-eastern fringe of Koh Samui Island. One will know that they are headed in the right direction long before reaching their destination as they will be able to see the peak of the Laem Sor Pagoda rising out of the seashore rocks well before they have reached the sight. The Laem Sor Pagoda is covered in deep yellow-ochre colored tiles making it appear from a distance as if the entire pagoda was drenched with liquid gold. Hin Lad Waterfall Temple (Wat Hin Lad)

Wat Kiri Wongkaram
Wat Kiri Wongkaram is a beautiful temple located in Koh Samui. The name Wat Kiri Wongkaram literally means mountainous temple and as one sets sight upon the temple they will soon realize that the name is very fitting indeed as this temple is located amongst a gorgeous backdrop of mountains and valleys. Wat Kiri Wongkaram is also home to a mummified monk who remains resting in the temple and can be viewed by visitors. The mummified monk passed away at the age of 87 and his body was put to rest in the temple where it naturally assumed a mummified state. Even to this day, the mummified monks nails and hair continue to grow and clippings are used by many devoted followers as a form of protective charm. Masjid Nurulihsan (Hua Thanon)
If you are looking to add a bit of a different element into your temple tour of Koh Samui, don't forget to stop by and visit Masjid Nurulihsan, the only Muslim mosque located on the island of Koh Samui. Hua Thanon is a fishing village on Koh Samui and his home to the Muslim community living on the island. The population of Koh Samui is made up not only of local Thais but also numerous residents of Chinese, Muslim and Indian descent who add diversity and uniqueness to the population of the island. Masjid Nurulihsan represents the Muslim portion of the population and is a stunning structure built in the traditional Muslim style and decorated with a bright and vibrant color palate.
