If you are looking for a unique tourist destination to visit during your Koh Samui holiday then you might be interested in making the trek up to Heaven Garden. Heaven Garden is an art gallery of sorts set in an absolutely stunning natural atmosphere amongst the gorgeous greenery and vegetation of Koh Samui's hills and valleys. Heaven Garden was created by Nim Thongsuk, a Thai of local Samui descent who desired to create a little piece of beauty to be enjoyed by all amongst the natural landscape of beautiful Koh Samui. One can view art in many shapes and forms at Heaven Garden and appreciate both man-made art and the natural beauty of the landscape all at once. It is recommended to wear good walking shoes to this site as the climb can be somewhat challenging at times. Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks (South of Lamai Beach)
If you want to make sure you don't miss out on one of the 'must sees' at Koh Samui be sure to schedule some time to stop by the famous Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks. The Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks are a pair of stones, that over the years, have been shaped and changed by the water and the wind to resemble the images of the male and female sex organs. One can climb on to the rocks and take plenty of pictures with Grandfather and Grandmother. This tourist destination may not be the most cultural experience but is quite fun nonetheless and the area where the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks are located is quite beautiful in its own right with great rock formations overlooking the pristine blue seas. Furthermore, there are plenty of small souvenir shops along the road leading to the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks where one can pick up some quality little treasures to take home as momentos of their Koh Samui holiday.

Touring the Waterfalls
The island of Koh Samui features of a network of river systems that in places, due to rough topography, form waterfalls. These locations of serene beauty are often secluded in the higher altitude areas of the island, where the pristine and verdant rainforests remain unspoiled by human development and interference. A hike up to one of the many stunning waterfalls on Koh Samui is a perfect way to spend a day developing an appreciation for the natural fauna and flora of the island. Na Muang 1 and 2 are regarded as the island's most beautiful and hence, most popular waterfalls, which present fascinating rock formations, beautiful surrounding vegetation and the opportunity to perhaps engage in a bit of forest bird-watching. Wang Saotong is another waterfall of interest - one of Samui's taller ones too - as is the Hin Lad Waterfall; both of which are well worth the 1-2 kilometer trek into the jungle to enjoy!
Magic Alambic Rum Distillery and Garden Bar (Namuang)
The Magic Alambic Rum Distillery and Garden Bar in Koh Samui was established in 2003 by the Gabrel family. If you are looking for a cool beverage to complement the sunset on one of Koh Samui's beautiful beaches, you need not look any further than The Magic Alambic Rum Distillery and Garden Bar. Ang Thong National Marine Park
If there's only one other activity you get up to while on Koh Samui - other than lying like a stranded whale on its pristine beaches - it's a visit to the stunning Ang Thong National Marine Park. This nature reserve consists of an archipelago of islands scattered like emeralds along the western boundary of the deep blue Gulf of Thailand, approximately 31km west of the islands of Samui. Here the National Parks Department of Thailand has fought long and hard to preserve the verdant tropical rainforests of the islands, the fine white sand beaches and the complex coral reef systems that lie beneath the turquoise waters. With the underlying geology of the area consisting of soft limestone, visitors flock to the Ang Thong National Marine Park to explore the networks of caves and other interesting rock formations. The park is a haven for swimming, hiking, bird-watching and other outdoor activities and is an absolute must-see for those with a love of fresh air and un-rivalled natural beauty.
