Introduction

The restaurant is right on the beach front which makes for a beautiful setting while enjoying your delicious meal.

Location

This restaurant is smack bang in the middle of Chaweng and on Chaweng beach itself. This is one of the more lively parts of the island with lots of music and beach parties. It’s only a short cab ride from the airport and just down the road you will find the quieter beach of Lamai. So if you feel like a break from Chaweng you take a trip to Lamai.

Sandies Restaurant at Silver Sand Resort has one of the best ranges of quality food to choose from. One of the local dishes served here is called hoy ma lang phoo ob moh din which is basically Thai herbs and spices cooked with steamed mussels. This is a very tasty dish indeed. If your taste buds are little less adventurous then try one their fantastic pizzas or a t-bone steak. Whatever your passion you are sure to be satisfied. Also you can order yourself a nice cocktail as you dine to give that special tropical feel to your meal or try one of the local beers. I personally recommend Singha beer. This is a nice light beer to go with your dinner.
