Location

The Kantara Restaurant is located in the Chaweng Blue Lagoon Resort which is next to the famous Chaweng Beach. It is within walking distance of the centre of the town or can be easily reached in a taxi. The resort is simple enough to find and a stroll along beach road will bring you to the resort.

Menu

The menu is a fabulous selection of cuisine from the Pacific Rim. The cuisine has strong Asian influences and the restaurant also offers the very finest Thai cuisine. The menu includes some delicious dishes such as Coconut crusted calamari which is served with a sweet and sour fresh mango salad. There is also a delightful dish of Chilled prawn and Jimaca tower with crispy wonton, avocado quenelle and Asian gazpacho. The Kantara Restaurant also offers some delightful desserts and these include the excellent hot chocolate cream with tiramisu ice cream and espresso anglaise.

The menu at Kantara is excellent and the cuisine is very reasonably priced. The average cost of a three course meal is 1000 THB with the house wine priced at a very reasonable 990 THB. The restaurant also has a wine of the month selection which costs between 800 and 1000 THB. There is also very good Thai style entertainment every evening and the restaurant is open from 07.00 until 23.00. The restaurant accepts major credit cards such as Master card, Visa and Amex. It may be advisable to book a table in advance especially at the weekend so as to guarantee you the perfect place to enjoy your romantic dinner.
