Orchid Residence is a small boutique style hotel, which is located centrally at Laem Din. There is a market opposite and it is directly in front of a Thai boxing arena. There are three room types on offer, Suite, Deluxe and Studio rooms, having an average size 35sqm. Selected rooms overlook the stunning Chaweng Lake.
The hotel is open 24 hours, with someone on duty from 6am until 11pm with 24-hour security. The hotel has one restaurant serving breakfast and snacks, which is ideal when lazing around the hotel.
Room Facilities
There are three room types available:-
11 Deluxe Rooms at 34sqm with a TV, air conditioning, refrigerator and hot and cold water.
12 Studio Rooms at 34sqm with a TV, air conditioning, hot and cold water and a mini bar.
12 Suites at 36sqm with a TV, air conditioning, hot and cold water, mini bar and a microwave.
Both twin and double rooms are available on request.
Attractions/Points of Interest Nearby
The hotel is only one mile from Chaweng beach and is centrally located for the vibrant nightlife with many restaurants and bars within a short distance of each other. There is a temple close by, and lots of water sports available on the beach. The airport is only 10 minutes away and there are various forms of local transport available such as tuk-tuks and motorcycle.

Guarantee Terms and Conditions
- As hotel prices can change frequently, you must contact us promptly by emailing
info@koh-samui-hotels.co.uk , but
in any event within 24 hours of purchasing your hotel room through koh-samui-hotels.co.uk.
Your email should include the following information: your name, reservation number
and the website where the lower rate is available. Incomplete or inaccurate emails
will not be taken into account.
- The guarantee is not applicable for same day bookings.
- The guarantee only applies in respect to a lower rate that is available for online
booking. The lower online rate must be bookable when we validate your claim, within
the 24 hour period. Screen shots will not be accepted as proof.
- The lower rate must be found online for an equivalent room at the same hotel as
booked through us on the same check-in and check-out dates with the same booking
conditions.
- The lower rate must be in the same currency.
- We will only match the difference between our rate and the lower rate if your reservation
through us is completed and not cancelled or the subject of a no-show.
- If the claim is unsuccessful as it is not in accordance with our lowest rate guarantee
terms and conditions, our terms and conditions of booking, including the cancellation
policy are still applicable.
- "Price match guarantee" does not apply to hotel rooms purchased through
or in combination with membership rates, frequent stay, loyalty points or other
reward type programs or special promotions of the hotel where the booking is made.
Lower rates available through opaque sites where the exact hotel isn't known until
after booking are also excluded from the guarantee.
