Situated to the north of Koh Samui, Baan Bophut is a family run hotel at the quiet end of a quaint fishing village. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and a continental breakfast. There is a swimming pool in front of the private beach. Guests can take advantage of the DVD and book library, taxi service, tour operator and vehicle rental service. There is an excellent Thai restaurant and a small bar named 'Spirit House'.
Managed by British expats and experienced Thai staff who understand their needs, we exist to serve independent travellers' who choose escape, relaxation and supreme comfort over activity and adventure.With only eleven sea facing rooms, the resort's petite proportions allow guests to be indulged with an attentive, individualized service amid a relaxing social experience.
Many of our guests are return visitors, and more still find their way to us by word of mouth. But as much as we welcome families, we're unable accommodate small children, and to ensure the comfort of other guests, must discourage those with boisterous or noisy youngsters.
Room Facilities
Each room has air-conditioning, a safety deposit box, mini bar, tea and coffee provisions, DVD player and cable television. There are eight sea view rooms, those on the first floor have a large shaded veranda, and those situated on the ground floor have a veranda with direct access to the beach. There are two luxurious Asian contemporary themed penthouses, and a suite that sleeps up to four people.
Attractions/Points of Interest
The hotel benefits from having a peaceful private beach that is a few steps from the rooms, with white sands stretching to lengths of 12km. Within the village are many restaurants that include French, Seafood and Thai cuisines. Only a 10-minute walk from the hotel, guests will find more than 40 individual bars lining a 700-meter street, many of which are open until 1am. These include 'The Pub', which is a famous English bar.

Minimum stay of 7 nights is required for arrivals between the 21st of December and the 5th of January.
Although a family friendly establishment, the hotel does not allow children under 12 years.
